Hardwood chip is a premium wood chip product with an earthy brown to red colour that is generally used as an all-round ground cover. Friendly with native australian plants. Ideal as a ground cover in windswept areas or as coarse garden mulch for sandy areas and verges with heavy foot traffic. Provides plants with nutrients as it breaks down, optimising plant growth. It allows water to penetrate evenly, allowing moisture to reach all sections of your garden soil, reduces evaporation of water from the soil, helps retain soil moisture – especially during hot, dry summers and protects your garden soil from erosion. -

Enviro Mulch Mix reduces moisture loss, reduces weed growth and prevents high soil temperatures that can damage the roots. It is irregular in size, which allows the water to pass through to your plant’s roots. Provides an economical option, without turning to manure. This mulch provides your garden with the nutrients it requires as it breaks down at a slow, consistent rate. Contains green-waste and soil. -
Crushed Limestone has pieces of 10mm down to dust in it. It is commonly used as a sub-base under paved paths and driveways, added to make limestone concrete or compacted to make a path. It is decorative and creates texture and has great drainage properties. Also serves as a good compacted base under horse stables, arenas and pathways built on sandy soils. Size 19mm -
Cracked Pea Gravel can be used as a path or driveway. It will remain loose on the surface due to the lack of fines/dust to enable compaction. But the “cracked” edges gives it the ability to lock in to each other and is less slippery than the whole gravel. It also works well in native gardens and landscapes as an alternative to wood-based mulch as it doesn’t degrade over time. It provides the soil with some level of sun protection and allows for excellent drainage. Usually a depth of 50mm-100mm is recommended. We suggest installing Geofabric underneath to stop the aggregate from mixing in with the existing sand, and to help control weeds. 12mm in size -
